Stopped for Shoplifting in Woodbury, Wisconsin Man Faces Drugs, Weapons Charges

Xou Vue has previously been convicted of manufacturing/distributing methamphetamine and illegally possessing a firearm.

At Wal-Mart in late March, Woodbury police stopped a man suspected of stealing electronics. He now faces a felony drug count and misdemeanor weapons charge.

Xou Vue, 33, of Weston, Wis., was allegedly found with methamphetamine and brass knuckles in his possession during the March 31 incident. He has previous convictions in his home state for making/distributing meth and illegally possessing a firearm.

Wal-Mart employees called police about a possible shoplifting incident and found Vue in the parking lot with his pockets bulging with stolen electronics, according to the complaint.

Officers then found the meth and brass knuckles in his pockets, the complaint says.

On the drug charge, Vue faces up to 10 years in prison and a $20,000 fine. On the misdemeanor weapons charge, he faces up to 90 days in jail and a $700 fine.
