Teenager Charged in Woodbury Drug Bust

Police found a small amount of heroin at the home.

A Woodbury teenager has been charged with a felony drug count after at his home.

Robert John Ennis, 18, faces up to five years in prison and a $10,000 fine on the fifth-degree felony drug possession charge.

The Washington County Narcotics Task Force in December 2011 obtained information that Ennis was selling marijuana and other drugs to people in the Woodbury area.

A confidential informant said marijuana could be purchased from Ennis, and the individual bought $350 worth of the drug from him.

On March 20, authorities executed a search warrant of Ennis’ home at the 2200 block of Timberlea Drive.

There, police found that he was in possession of numerous items of drug paraphernalia, two digital scales, three glass mason jars with suspected marijuana, a black shot glass with suspected black tar heroin weighing .07 grams, and four small balloons containing suspected black tar heroin weighing .05 grams. Both black tar substances tested positive for the presence of heroin.
