Police were called about a drunken guest at the Hampton Inn. A man had checked in with a woman, and she later came to the front desk to say he was drunk and trashing the room. She left and police arrived. Officers and management went up to the room and knocked on the door. Concerned for his welfare, management opened the door and police again tried to hail the man. Officers entered the room and found the man, who showed signs of intoxication, along with a broken cabinet and coffee maker. He registered a .29 on a preliminary breath test and was transported to detox. Management said they did not want to press charges and would add the cost of the broken items to his room bill.

He left his credit card and left the establishment, and his card was declined. A Wild Bill’s manager found the man at Sunsets, and asked him to come back and settle his tab. He went back to Wild Bill’s and became disorderly, yelling and swearing at staff and trying to flee when his card was declined again. He jumped over a deck to run away, but staff tracked him down and held him to the ground. He was yelling: “I’m rich, you’re poor. … I can do what I want.” Management wanted him trespassed and did not pursue disorderly conduct or theft charges. He was transported to detox.
