Woodbury Car Fire Victim Dies

The 26-year-old woman from Woodbury died Monday following the March 29 car fire at Tamarack Hills, according to a report.

The woman who was rushed to Regions Hospital following a March 29 car fire died Monday, according to a report.

Police identified the woman as 26-year-old Kelly Marie Shropshire, a model, singer and actress who came to the Twin Cities after her family was displaced by Hurricane Katrina, according to a Woodbury Bulletin story.

Firefighters got the call at 6:54 p.m. and crews were on scene a few minutes later. The fire was extinguished by 7:12 p.m. Shropshire was transported to Regions Hospital after suffering from smoke inhalation.
