Woodbury Man Accused Of Stealing From Bank

The bank teller admitted he took $1,500 from a West St. Paul Wells Fargo, though more than $4,000 was missing.

A Woodbury man is facing felony theft charges after he allegedly stole money from the West St. Paul bank at which he works.

According to the criminal complaint, Irvin Juan Segura, 21, told authorities he took $1,500 from the bank, where he works as a teller.

Other employees, however, told police that there was $4,090.04 missing from his cash drawer between Nov. 16 and Dec. 6, when police were contacted, according to the complaint.

If convicted he faces up to 5 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
