Woodbury Police: Knife Threat on York Drive

No one was hurt during the Friday afternoon incident.

Woodbury police on Friday detained a man who threatened another person with a knife at a home at the 3500 block of York Drive.

Officers got the man on the phone, and he exited the house and was quickly taken into custody, according to Woodbury Police Cmdr. John Altman. Two other people were at the home at the time.

No one was hurt.

Police at about 2:40 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25, received a 911 call about the threat, which occurred between two people who know each other, Altman said. It was not a random act.  

The incident remains under investigation.The suspect was on his way to the Washington County Jail for booking, Altman said.

Some roads in the area were blocked off to minimize any potential risk, he said.
