Assessment Hearing for Windwood, Colby Lake Roadwork Set for Wednesday

If you’ve got issues with the proposed assessments for in Woodbury, Wednesday is your chance to be heard.

The Woodbury City Council is scheduled to hold an assessment hearing for the Windwood and Colby Lake roadwork projects during Wednesday night’s 7:30 p.m. meeting at .

It’s the largest road construction project ever undertaken by the city and the work will affect about 1,800 homes. Eleven miles of roads in the two neighborhoods will be fixed up this summer.

The project is projected to cost about $7.5 million, with 3 percent interest on the 15-year terms of the assessments. (Check the images with the story to see the cost breakdown.)
