Brief: Woodbury Council Makes Committee, Board Appointments

The city also approved 2012 council liaison and staff assignments during the Dec. 14 meeting.

The Woodbury City Council at its Dec. 14 meeting made appointments to various city committees and boards.

There were 43 applicants to the bodies, which review different areas of the city, including planning, the environment, business development and others. Interviews were conducted on Nov. 19.

  • Amy Scoggins and Administrator Clinton Gridley as the city’s representatives on the Park/Library Association
  • Julie Ohs as the city’s representative on the South Washington County Telecommunications Commission
  • Rebholz as representative on the Audit and Investment Commission
  • Mayor Mary Giuliani Stephens as the Gateway Corridor Commission representative
  • Rebholz as Gateway Corridor Commission alternate
  • Bill Hargis, Woodbury resident and former mayor, as the Policy Advisory Committee representative

Last Meeting Of 2011

The council last Wednesday met for the final time this year.

City Administrator Clint Gridley thanked the council “for what has been an excellent year.” He said the city is looking forward to a “very active” 2012.

Mayor Mary Giuliani Stephens also thanked staff for their work during the past year.

“I think we accomplished a lot,” she said.
