Brief: Woodbury Seeks Musicians for Winter Showcase

The deadline to submit is noon on Oct. 8.

Woodbury’s Parks and Recreation Department is seeking local solo artists or groups to perform as a part of a winter music series in the Central Park amphitheater.

The city is looking for musicians who play “easy listening, family-friendly music,” according to a release.

The events will be held at 7 p.m. on certain Thursday evenings January through March. Nominal compensation will be offered to each performer.

Musicians are asked to sample of their work, as well as contact information, to centralpark@ci.woodbury.mn.us or by mail to: Woodbury Parks and Recreation, 8595 Central Park Place, Woodbury, MN 55125.

All submissions must be received by noon on Oct. 8. Those chosen to be part of the series will be contacted and sent an application and contract.
