Candidates Set for Woodbury City Council Race

Five people have filed for the two seats up for election this year.

Five people will vie for two seats on the Woodbury City Council this fall.

The filing period for the office closed Tuesday. Candidates have until Thursday to withdraw.

Both incumbents—Paul Rebholz and Amy Scoggins—are running again this year. Both are seeking a third term on the council.

The other candidates are Mike Thissen, Mark Doree and Joe Grinols.

Doree said he would be available for comment Wednesday. Grinols did not immediately return phone calls seeking comment.
