League of Women Voters Candidate Forums

The League of Women Voters of Woodbury/Cottage Grove will hold public candidate forums. On Tuesday, September 25, 2012, at 7:00 P.M. in Woodbury City Hall (8301 Valley Creek Road, Woodbury 55125) candidates for County Commissioner in Districts 2 and 5 will present positions and answer questions.  An open forum at 8:15 P.M. will be for candidates for Newport Mayor and Newport City Council.

The public is encouraged to attend and to submit written questions.  Thee forums will be aired live on the local government access channel and will be rebroadcast before the elections.

Forums for Senate District 54 and House Districts 54A and 54B and for Cottage Grove Mayor and City Council will be in Cottage Grove City Hall (7516 80th Street South, Cottage Grove 55016) on Tuesday, October 2, at 7:00P.M.  On Tuesday, October 9, 7:00 P.M., forums for Senate District 53 and House Districts 53A and 53B and Woodbury City Council will be held in Woodbury City Hall.
