Woodbury Drive Improvements

An open house to provide the public an opportunity to discuss improvements to Woodbury Drive is at 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 31, in the Birch Conference Room at Woodbury City Hall.

City Hall is at 8301 Valley Creek Road.

Washington County, in coordination with the City of Woodbury, is studying roadway improvements to Woodbury Drive (County Road 19) between Park Crossing and a quarter-mile south of Bailey Road. The purpose of the project is to improve safety and mobility all along County Road 19.

The county and the city are interested in hearing thoughts on the existing challenges or benefits that residents, business owners, and commuters experience in this corridor. Input will be used to refine the purpose and need for the project, as well as inform project designers about improvements that should be made to enhance functionality, safety, and aesthetics of the roadway. Members of the public may learn more about the project, share viewpoints, and provide ideas for improvements at the meeting.

The meeting will be an open house format with no formal presentation, so attendees are welcome to come and go at any time during the three-hour timeframe.
