McCollum to Accept Student Congressional Arts Competition Submissions

The competition, titled "An Artistic Discovery" is open to all high school students in Minnesota's Fourth Congressional District.

U.S. Rep. Betty McCollum's office is accepting submissions for the 2013 Congressional Arts Competition until April 22. The competition is titled "An Artistic Discovery," according to an information page on McCollum's website.

From the website:

The Congressional Art Competition is open to all high school students in the 4th District. The over-all winner of our district's competition will be displayed for one year in the U.S. Capitol. The exhibit in Washington will also include artwork from other contest winners nation-wide.  The winner of the art competition will receive two complimentary tickets to Washington, DC for the National Reception in June.
