Rep. JoAnn Ward to Host Meetings on Education, Healthcare, Energy

The meetings will be held at the Woodbury City Hall.

State Rep. JoAnn Ward, a DFLer who represents parts of Woodbury, announced Wednesday she will host three upcoming town hall meetings.

Each of the meetings will focus on a different topic. All meetings are set for 10-11 a.m. at Woodbury City Hall, 8301 Valley Creek Road.

On Saturday, Sept. 14, Education Policy Chair Rep. Carlos Mariani (DFL-St. Paul) will join Ward to discuss education.

Commerce Chair Rep. Joe Atkins (DFL-Inver Grove Heights) will be on hand for the Saturday, Oct. 19, meeting to discuss healthcare and the new MnSure insurance exchange program.

And for the Saturday, Nov. 2, meeting Ward will be joined by Energy Chair Rep. Melissa Hortman (DFL-Brooklyn Park) to discuss energy policy.
