Seasons Parkway to Close to Fix Broken Water Main

The work is expected to begin Thursday, June 27.

Seasons Parkway will be closed from Radio Drive to about 150 feet to the west as crews repair a broken water main gate valve beneath the street.

The work is expected to begin Thursday, June 27, with the road reopening Tuesday, July 2, weather permitting.

The break didn't have anything to do with the storm, said Jason Egerstrom, Woodbury's communications coordinator.

"It was just a corroded bolt," he said.

The valve failure caused the unplanned road closure. The work will begin Thursday after parts arrive and a contractor is scheduled.

The valve helps the city control the flow of water, according to a Tuesday morning notice from Woodbury.

Both westbound and eastbound lanes of Seasons Parkway will be closed.
