Still Time to Register for Woodbury 5K Night Run, Bonfire (Hopefully)

The fourth annual Burn It Up event is set for Saturday night at Colby Lake.

It’s called the Burn It Up 5K because of the bonfire held after the run.

But if a countywide burning ban isn’t lifted before Saturday night, it won’t be part of that evening’s festivities.

Still, the city is encouraging folks to come out and enjoy the fall weather for the fourth annual run/walk around Colby Lake.

The registration fee is $20 per person. On-site registration and participant check-in begins at 6 p.m., at the Colby Lake Park building, with the run/walk starting at 7 p.m.

The event will end with snacks and, hopefully, a bonfire at Colby Lake Park.
