"I am thrilled and humbled by this election.  I send wholehearted thanks to the voters for believing in me. I will serve the needs and concerns of all the people of south Maplewood, south Oakdale, Landfall and western Woodbury.  I embarked on this campaign to bring a positive message to the voters: we must get past the gridlock and deliver results that solve basic economic problems. I pledge to be a positive leader in the House.  I have built a career on getting things done by creating communities of inclusion and focusing on positive relationships and collaboration.  I need all of you — whether you voted for me or not — to talk with me and work with me to build a state that works for all its people. We can get it done together!"
