Woodbury in recent years has kept the city’s tax levy relatively flat, including no increase in 2012 and a $6 increase for the average value home in 2013.

The council in late July also held a workshop on the 2014 levy, and city documents provide a broad analysis of the factors that influence it.

Wednesday's meeting is a workshop, so no formal action will be taken. The council will hold several meetings on the budget in the coming months.
