Day 6 Juice Feast/Fast

Had great intentions, but it wasn't enough.

Today was a really busy day for me, no time to juice.  We had to pick up our marriage license and I had to be to the other side of the world by 11am to meet my hair stylist.

I did take the 2 tablespoon of lemon juice with some water and had to run out the door.  My first real beverage was a Starbucks Skinny Vanilla Latte.  Not quite the nutrition that I needed, but proud I stayed away fromthe iced lemon loaf that looked so delicious.

The remainder of my day consisted of water and a Jamba Juice Tropical Mix.  I am really messing myself up.  Again, still on liquids but not as healthy as juicing with fruits and vegetables at home..

After grocery shopping, errands, etc.  I was starving by the time I got home.  As you know starving and cooking for my family do not go hand in hand for my diet plan.  So, I think you know what happened next.

I prepared a wonderful BBQ rib dinner complete with boiled potatoes and corn on the cob for my family. My intention was to juice once I got their plates ready.  My intentions were good, but my stomach was not cooperating and said "feed me now!"  Needless to say, I did not juice, but I kept it light with just 2 small rib bones, 1 small boiled red potato and one ear of corn.  Believe it or not, I was stuffed.  With juicing or just liquids throughout the day, my stomach is starting not to expand as much.  That is a bonus.

I will not beat myself up for not following through with my good intentions.  Any diet will not work if you feel restricted, then guilty later.  I am just wishing I could make it through the dinner time with juicing.

Has anyone else had this issue with starting a fast?
