Juicing Experience: Days 12 & 13
Made an awesome combination of fruit and vegetables. I drank almost the whole carafe by myself; again.
It was the weekend and I had my grandchildren all weekend. Sorry for not being able to take the time to post each day. What can you expect with a very active 4 & 6 year old? :)
I had my grandchildren all weekend, so juicing and posting was a little more difficult than usual.
On Friday I was good and juiced all day; however, I pigged out on Oreo cookies with the kids while watching scary movies.

- 1 red pear
- 1 apple
- 1 peeled orange
- 1/4 beet
- 1 slice ginger root
- handful of parsley & spinach
- 1 kale leaf
This was an awesome combination of fruit and vegetables. I drank almost the whole carafe by myself; again.
I liked it so much; I drank it on Day 13 also.
It was easy to drink the juice for breakfast and in between meals. However, I had to feed the grandkids more than juice, so I ended up eating lunch, dinner and snacks with them. some were healthy snacks: bananas and the pumpkin seeds we made.
The overdose of Oreo Cookies sure did take it's toll. My stomach was so upset, that I don't think I can even look at another Oreo cookie again. Also, I shouldn't since they are not Gluten Free...
The fun part was having the kids ask about my garden and about the juice I made. It felt good to share my knowledge of the garden and why I am juicing; I still couldn't get them to try the awesomeness of the juice though. I even explained it tasted better and was better for them than the Old Orchard Apple Juice I was pouring for them. They weren't falling for that explanation.
I have become addicted to Pinterest. Yes, I discovered another fun tool. I have been pinning juicing recipes for future use; getting ready for the huge feast/fast that I will begin after the holidays. I am almost ready to start it now, but I have also been pinning some awesome gluten-free recipes for the holidays that I would love to try.
Everyone should have one of these. It makes Pinterest so easy, now I can have juicing recipes right at my fingertips.
