Juicing Experience: Day 14

Today was a breeze. I am thinking my stomach was grateful for the healthy juice versus the overdose of Oreo cookies.

Taking a page from the awesome juice over the weekend, I thought I would make another version:

  • 1 red appple
  • 1 green apple
  • 1 red pear (they seem to be sweeter than the other pears)
  • 1 kale leaf
  • 3 carrots
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 beet
  • 1 slice of ginger root
  • handful of spinach and parsley

This juice was just as amazing as the one from the weekend.  I was able to juice all day.  I did break down later in the evening to have a breakfast burrito; not because I was hungry for solids, but need to at least eat one meal through the holidays.  I do not want to have to wean off juice to solids just for Thanksgiving, then Christmas

It seems that either I am eating too much or my stomach just isn't happy with solids; it is always upset after I eat.  Going to attempt to have a lighter meal and see if that helps.

So far I found that I really enjoy apples, pears, cantaloupe, papaya, pineapple, carrots, kale, spinach, parsley, beets and ginger in the juices.  Tomorrow I will go to the grocery store and find some more amazing combinations from the recipes I have pinned.
