Juicing Experience: Days 33 & 34

Final day of the "Juicing Experience" and I made it to Thanksgiving with a new lifestyle choice. Thank you for allowing me to share my experience.

Would you believe that this carafe was full when I came into work at 9am?  By 11:30am this is where I was at.  I only shared 8 oz with my co-worker and the rest was all me. 

I LOVE JUICING!

Ingredients:

  • 2 apples
  • 2 red pears
  • 1/2 pineapple
  • 1 papaya
  • 20 kale leaves
  • 7 carrots
  • 1 lemon
  • 1/2 beet
  • Huge handful of spinach and parsley

 

My morning routine consists of a tablespoon of pure lemon juice when I wake up.  Actually I let the dog out first, then feed and water both the dog and cat, wake up the kids, then wash my hands before taking the tablespoon of lemon juice.  After my morning shower I proceed to drink a glass of distilled water.

I sometimes pour a glass of juice before I leave, but not always.

I have managed to successfully stick to juice through breakfast, mid-morning snack and lunch.  After the holidays, I will begin the juice feast-fast which will substitute all meals > strictly liquids this point forward.  Three days prior to Easter, I will begin to wean off the liquids and onto solids.  I will still juice daily for the rest of my life.

Tomorrow is Turkey Day.  I have to give thanks to my saviour, without him nothing would be possible.  I am thankful for my family even with all the trials and tribulations we have experienced this past year, and thankful for my wonderful family, friends and doctors.  I have been truly blessed this year.

I will still encourage others to juice, share juicing recipes, and give updates on my feast/fast.  Like how I am feeling weekly along with weight loss. 

With the juicing experience, I have had more energy, I physically feel “cleaner”, gained some regularity in bowels movements, and lost 10 pounds in 33 days without starving or denying myself.
