College Grads And Scholars From Woodbury

Patch will provide regular roundups of recent college graduates and recipients of various academic honors.

Graduates

Alix Matzke graduated Cum Laude from DePaul University in Chicago.

Jordan Olson graduated Magna Cum Laude from DePaul University.

Academic Honors

Oluwabukola Ajabe was named to the University of St. Thomas Dean’s List in St. Paul, Minn., earning a GPA of 3.5 or higher. Ajabe’s anticipated graduation date is in 2012.

Kelsey Dunlevy was named to the Concordia University Dean’s List in St. Paul, earning a GPA of 3.5 or higher during the spring 2011 semester. Dunlevy is a junior majoring in English.

Temitope Famodu was named to the DePaul University Dean’s List.

Sarah Gale was named to the Concordia University Dean’s List in St. Paul, earning a GPA of 3.5 or higher during the spring 2011 semester. Gale is a senior majoring in Psychology.

Nicholas Jarrett was named to the Concordia University Dean’s List in St. Paul, earning a GPA of 3.5 or higher during the spring 2011 semester. Jarrett is a senior majoring in Finance.

Hussein Khatib was admitted to Concordia University in St. Paul for the fall 2011 semester. Khatib was also awarded the Transfer University and Transfer Partnership scholarships, amounting to $7,000 in educational funds.

Venkata Kodali has been admitted to the Master of Science program for Management in Technologies at the University of Minnesota’s Technological Leadership Institute for the fall 2011 semester.

Kumsup Lee has been admitted to the Master of Science program for Management in Technologies at the University of Minnesota’s Technological Leadership Institute for the fall 2011 semester.
Bernardo Medellin was named to the DePaul University Dean’s List.

Nicola Mehta was named to the Concordia University Dean’s List in St. Paul, earning a GPA of 3.5 or higher during the spring 2011 semester.

Emily Nielson has enrolled in Rochester Institute of Technology's National Technical Institute for the Deaf in Rochester, N.Y.

Joshua Osmundson was named to the Concordia University Dean’s List in St. Paul, earning a GPA of 3.5 or higher during the spring 2011 semester. Osmundson is a sophomore majoring in Business Management.

Ashley Radabaugh was named to the Concordia University Dean’s List in St. Paul, earning a GPA of 3.5 or higher during the spring 2011 semester. Radabaugh is a senior majoring in Art Design.

Natalie Renalls was named to the Concordia University Dean’s List in St. Paul, earning a GPA of 3.5 or higher during the spring 2011 semester. Renalls is a junior majoring in Mathematics.

Jennifer Schultz was named to the Concordia University Dean’s List in St. Paul, earning a GPA of 3.5 or higher during the spring 2011 semester. Schultz is a junior majoring in Business Management.

Danessa Snustad was named to the Concordia University Dean’s List in St. Paul, earning a GPA of 3.5 or higher during the spring 2011 semester. Snustad is a junior majoring in Elementary Education.

Michael Willett was named to the Concordia University Dean’s List in St. Paul, earning a GPA of 3.5 or higher during the spring 2011 semester. Willett is a sophomore majoring in Communication Studies.

Advanced Placement exams resulted in 188 high school students from South Washington County Schools have earned AP Scholar Awards. Additional student details can be found here.

Summer Program Participation

Lisa Crump participated in Michigan Technological University’s youth Aviation and Aerospace program over the summer in Houghton, Mich.

Kalina Hildebrandt participated in Michigan Technological University’s youth Computer Graphics and Design program over the summer in Houghton, Mich.

Oriana Lada participated in the Freshman Service Project on Aug. 22 at the University of Evansville in Indiana.

Jake McBrien participated in Michigan Technological University’s youth Engineering Scholars program over the summer in Houghton, Mich.
