Foreclosure Prevention & Information Workshop

The Washington County Library and the Washington County Housing and Redevelopment Authority are offering free Foreclosure Counseling & Information Workshops to anyone who wants to ask questions and get advice from trained foreclosure prevention counselors.

Participants will also have an opportunity to schedule a one-on-one meeting with a foreclosure prevention counselor. It will help the counselor to respond to any concerns participants bring the following: 1) any communication received from a lender or loan servicer; 2) proof of income (e.g., recent pay stub); and 3) a copy of a mortgage statement.

Registration, and attendance for the full hour, is encouraged. For more information or to speak with a foreclosure prevention counselor immediately, call the Washington County HRA’s foreclosure intake line at 651-458-0936 ext. 542 or visit www.wchra.com
