*** About MCGT ***

Minnesota Council for the Gifted & Talented (MCGT) is a state-wide non-profit support and advocacy organization of parents, educators, and other professionals who live or work with gifted children and are interested in their education and well-being.

The St. Croix Valley Chapter, est. 2012, provides a community network for parents, families, and educators.  In addition to bi-monthly meetings we offer:

  • Resources for supporting gifted and talented children
  • Advocacy and awareness-building for enriched learning opportunities
for students attending public, charter, and private schools located
    within the St. Croix Valley
  • A social avenue for members and their children to connect with peers

MCGT is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization, est. 1946.  Membership is open to all.  Your children (if any) do not need to be formally identified as gifted/talented.  You are not required to reside in the St. Croix Valley or have children enrolled at District 834 schools.  Annual member dues support State and chapter operations and events.

Start your membership by attending an upcoming SCVMCGT meeting or register online at http://www.mcgt.net
