When a child appears out of control, is it: a behavioral problem? a sensory issue?
Woodbury Lutheran Church will host this interactive workshop designed to provide introductory information about sensory processing and the types of responses seen in individuals with sensory integration dysfunction. Veronica Arens, OTR/L and President of Family Achievement Center, will help parents and professionals learn about sensory processing challenges, understand how children may be processing information, and recognize why children may behave or act in a certain way.
