Washington County Senior Housing Fair

The Stillwater and Bayport Senior Centers are hosting the fifth annual Washington County Senior Housing Fair.

This open house event will be held on Saturday, April 21 from 9 a.m. to noon at Community Thread, 2300 West Orleans Street in Stillwater.

This “one stop shop” will save those looking for senior housing information hours of time and energy, when seeking information to meet specific housing  needs.

Finding a new place to live and moving can be a difficult process. The Housing Fair will assist seniors and families of seniors who are interested in finding housing options within Washington County.

Visitors will be able to meet representatives from several different housing agencies to gather information, discuss needs and get better understanding of senior services provided at each location.

Get the facts versus the myths from industry expert, Beth Paterson, Executive Vice President with Reverse Mortgages SIDAC and learn if reverse mortgage is right for you.

Resource and referral information on in-home care, transitional moving services, adaptive equipment and other support services will be available.

Refreshments will be provided by Lakeview Homecare and Hospice.
