Hochman Leaving Lake for Park High School

principal Todd Hochman is leaving to become an assistant principal at Park High School in Cottage Grove, according to a news release.

Hochman has been the principal at Lake since fall of 2007. He previously served as a high school principal in St. Paul.

District staff is recommending Rick Wippler serve as an interim principal at Lake until the district can hire a permanent replacement, according to the release.

In a letter to families, Hochman said he enjoyed his four years at the school.

“The support and passion you have for Lake Middle School has been awesome,” he said in the letter. “I will miss the Lake community and families and cherish the fond memories I have had serving you.”
