Math and Science Academy Holds 10th Commencement Ceremony

Math and Science Academy class of 2011 held its graduation ceremony at Central Park in Woodbury on Wednesday, June 8.

The held its 10th annual commencement ceremony at Central Park in Woodbury on June 8.

The MSA Wind Ensemble provided music as families gathered in an intimate setting to celebrate their students achievements.

The school's graduating class of 31 students listened to heartfelt and commical speeches by staff, Tim Tydlacka and fellow students Nicola Mehta and Tim Bluhm. Families came forward for hugs as students were presented diplomas by director, Paul Simone.

Graduating senior Ellen Schubbe presented a slideshow, "Senior Memories," for the audience. After presentation of the class of 2011, caps flew in the air and a reception with light refreshments was held.
