Fourth-grade students from Oakdale got a behind-the-scenes look at a variety of jobs, and even interviewed for employment, at the Woodbury Postal Credit Union.

Students from became “Bankers for a Day” recently at the Woodbury Postal Credit Union.

The fourth-graders got a behind-the-scenes look at a variety of jobs, including the teller line, member service, loans, contact center and collections, according to a release from PCU. Students also had the chance to interview for employment and learned how member-owned credit unions differ from other financial service providers.

“This is the fifth year PCU has invited students to our branch to learn more about what we do as a full-service credit union,” said Branch Manager Liz Fleischhacker. “The students ask great questions and are really interested in how we operate. They are especially excited when we go behind the teller line and visit the vault to see where the money is stored.”
