Woodbury Football Players Help Feed My Starving Children

The players were in Eagan Tuesday for the effort.

A group of football players traveled to Eagan on Tuesday, Feb. 21, to help out Feed My Starving Children

The approach is simple: volunteers hand-pack meals specially formulated for malnourished children and send them to partners building more successful communities in nearly 70 countries around the world.

On that night a total of 75 volunteers packaged 105 boxes (well above the goal of 75 boxes) of MannaPack Rice meals, or a total of 22,680 meals. These bags contain a power-packed formula of 20 vitamins and minerals added to dried vegetables, soy protein and rice.

Through the efforts of this group that night they were able to provide a meal a day to 62 children for one entire year. The packages will be sent to children in Haiti and the Philippines.
