Brief: Benefit for Woodbury’s Gary Rinehart Set For Dec. 2

A fundraiser for Woodbury youth athletics coach Gary Rinehart is planned for 5-10 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 2, at .

An 11-year Woodbury resident, Rinehart, 44, is , and the family has incurred costly medical bills. The benefit will include a spaghetti dinner, entertainment, silent auction, kids’ activities and chance to win an iPad2.

A volunteer Woodbury Athletic Association baseball tournament director, WAA youth wrestling director and WALL baseball tournament director, Rinehart has two sons, ages 10 and 9.

People can purchase tickets ($10; $5 for kids under 12) in advance at Guardian Angels Catholic Church in Oakdale. Donations to the Coach Gary Rinehart Benefit Fund can also be given at any Wells Fargo Bank location, or via mail to , 7525 Currell Blvd., Woodbury, MN, 55125.
