Brief: Pep Rally Set For Woodbury Football Team Heading To Nationals

The young Royals, a fourth-grade team that won the Minnesota championship, is raising money for a trip to Texas.

The Minnesota Royals—a fourth-grade —are hosting a pep rally to help raise funds for the trip.

The event is set for 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 6, at the Wooddale FunZone.

“Please come and join us in celebrating our State Championship Victory and wish us luck as we embark on our journey to Nationals in Texas,” organizers said in a release. “We will have cake and every child present will be entered into a drawing for free prizes!”

Admission:

  • $7 for skate zone (includes roller skate rental)
  • $7 for play zone (ages 10 and under)
  • $10 for skate and play zone

Tickets for the event can be purchased before the event from any Royals player, or at the door the day of the event.

Additionally, there will be drawings for “Chance to Win” prizes (people need not be present to win).

  • 1st place: Wii Bundle system which includes: a game, cables, remote charging station and extra remote
  • 2nd place: Razor ESpark Electric Scooter
  • 3rd place: Kindle
  • 4th place: The Beats Solo headphones by Dr. Dre
  • 5th place: Moterola Bluetooth headset
  • 6th place: Premium athletic iPod headphones

Ticket prices: $2 for 1 ticket; $8 for 5 tickets; $15 for 10 tickets.
