East Ridge Soccer Hires Izquierdo As Director Of Coaching
Izquierdo is the founder of the MN Foot Tech camps and has trained soccer players in the east metro for 10 years
The East Ridge Soccer Club announced last week that Juaquin Izquierdo has been named the program’s new director of coaching.
Izquierdo, who has been training and coaching youth soccer in the east metro for more than 10 years, will be responsible for planning, organizing and implementing the group's soccer program.
“I love soccer,” Izquierdo said in a press release. “Growing up in Merida Yucatan Mexico, we lived and breathed futbol... even playing in the streets. I want everyone who trains with me to enjoy the same passion and love for the game as I do.”

Izquierdo holds a United States Soccer Federation B Licensure, earned National Soccer Coaches Association of America diplomas, is an Olympic development coach and is co-founder and technical director of MN Foot Tech soccer training, an elite training program that offers winter and summer training camps focusing on becoming comfortable with ball handling, according to mnfoottech.com.
He will be involved with his staff from MN FOOT TECH, Dickie Vilme and Simbo N'diaye, according to the release.
