The winter solstice represents the longest nights for the hardy Minnesotan. To celebrate the brighter days coming, Washington County Parks welcomes friends and families out to enjoy lit ski and walking trails at Lake Elmo Park Reserve from 5-8 p.m. Dec. 18. More than 200 tiki torches will be marking the trails for skiers and walkers of all skill levels. (There is a $5 vehicle fee to enter the park.)
