If the Royals Win...

Woodbury is more or less locked into the second seed for the Section 4AAAAA playoffs. The Royals aren't going to catch Cretin-Derham Hall for the top spot, and even if they lose and Eagan—the team currently in the third slot—wins, it's unlikely they'll be overtaken by the Wildcats. Woodbury is all but guaranteed to host Park—the Wolfpack trails by a wide margin in the points system standings and will be the No. 7 seed in the seven-team section—in the first round of the playoffs.

If the Rangers Win...

They will be the No. 5 seed in the Section 7AAAAA playoffs. If they lose, Coon Rapids could still catch them for the fifth position. Since Coon Rapids and Andover—the two teams behind them in the section points standings—play each other, Forest Lake can finish no worse than sixth. At the top of the section, if Anoka, St. Francis and Blaine—all 6-1—all win Friday, Anoka will likely be the No. 1 seed, with Blaine squeaking past St. Francis for the No 2. seed.
