While the Woodbury Soccer Club sponsors Woodbury Community Soccer Day, it is “an opportunity for Woodbury Area players from all clubs to celebrate youth soccer and proudly wear their team colors,” according to a release. “Players who wear their respective team uniforms to the games will get into the game for free.”

Woodbury Community Soccer Day was started as a way to recognize the number of youngsters who play soccer in the community. Mayor Mary Giuliani Stephens is expected to attend, along with Nick Rogers, president of MN United FC, and Peter Rivard, Woodbury Soccer Club director of coaching.
