Four early Mounds View runs sealed a Suburban East Conference defeat for the East Ridge softball team on Monday.

Mounds View never relinquished the lead in its 7-3 victory over the Raptors. 

East Ridge made several comeback attempts, including back-to-back hits in the fifth inning by eighth-grade twins Ali and Amanda Robinson, who were left stranded. The Raptors did score once in the sixth on an Erica Bohlke single and twice in the seventh, but could not keep pace with the Mustangs.
