Almost forgot, someone asked me how I got the snow that white because they all have gray snow. To start with I shot these pictures with a long lens 70-200 switched the IS off to get fast focus and put it on ISO 4000 with shutterspeed priority 1/500 sec to prevent shake. Now the real trick is to override the camera exposure metering. Your camera wants to make everything it sees middle gray. By dialing in a +1 or more on the exposure compensation it will add more light and the snow will be white again. You really have to try it to believe it.(If you shoot manual just over expose 1 stop or more)
