Royals volleyball team shuts out intra-district rival to highlight mid-week schedule.

Woodbury and East Ridge athletic squads continued their Suburban East Conference battles during the mid-week schedule, with the Royals volleyball team sweeping an intra-district rival.

Woodbury Volleyball

The volleyball team improved to 6-2 on the season with a three-game sweep (25-14, 25-16, 25-13) of southern neighbor Park on Tuesday.

Sara Biermaier had eight kills, with Kelsey Schultze notching an equal number of assists to lead the Royals in the victory.

East Ridge Volleyball

The volleyball team was swept (17-25, 17-25, 24-26) at Mounds View on Tuesday to fall to 3-7 this autumn. Individual statistics were not made available.

Woodbury Boys Soccer
