Hoops: Woodbury Boys Whip East Ridge

Royals basketball moves to 7-2 on season with 64-44 win over Woodbury rival East Ridge.

The boys basketball team returned from a the holiday break with a dominating performance over cross-town rival , winning 64-44.  

The Royals, who were in control from the opening tip, were lead by another strong performance from junior guard Renard Suggs with 21 points. Seniors Connor McKeen and Ben Rexroth each chipped in 10 points.

East Ridge's Justin Pahl lead Raptors scorers with 12.

Woodbury, which visits Stillwater on Friday, is now 7-2 on the season and 3-0 on Suburban East Conference play. East Ridge falls to 4-5 and 1-3 in SEC play.
