Woodbury, East Ridge Football Still Alive

The Royals, Raptors each won on Tuesday and advanced to separate Section 4AAAAA semifinals on Saturday

The football team rolled past Park Cottage Grove by a 44-7 margin on Tuesday in the Section 4AAAAA quarterfinal in Woodbury.

The Royals advanced to face Eagan in the section semifinals on Saturday. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.

With the win, Woodbury improved to 6-3 on the season. Park ends the year with a 0-9 record.

East Ridge Advances

The football team beat Hastings 33-14 on Tuesday in the Section 4AAAAA quarterfinal in Woodbury.

The Raptors advanced to face top-seeded Cretin-Derham Hall in the section semifinals on Saturday. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.

With the win, East Ridge improved to 3-6 on the season. Hastings ends the year with a 2-7 record.
