Looking to Make Strides: Woodbury Football 2013 Schedule

A little bit of magic saved a troubled season last year when the Royals knocked off higher seed Cretin-Derham Hall in the opening round of the 2012 Section Playoffs. Now, Woodbury is hoping for a deeper playoff run. Here's a look at the schedule.

Fittingly, the two teams that provided the best memories for Woodbury Royal football faithful in the 2012 playoffs will meet this year to close the 2013 regular season, with the Royals hoping there’s a little more magic in the bottle.

Woodbury knocked off Cretin-Derham Hall in last season’s opening round of the Section Playoffs, 21-14.

Though they’d lose next week on the road at Prior Lake, it was the highlight of the Woodbury season, as the Royals finished the regular season 3-5 and 4-6 overall.
