Woodbury Plans Trail Run at Carver Lake Park

Runners will trek the approximately 3.5-mile single-track trail system at Carver Lake Park.

The Woodbury Parks and Recreation Department is gearing up for the Carver Lake Trail Trot.

Saturday, Oct. 12, will mark the first time for the event, which will be held at Carver Lake Park. Runners will trek the approximately 3.5-mile single-track trail system at Carver Lake Park.

Registration and check in will begin at 7:30 a.m., with the trail run starting at 9 a.m.

The registration fee is $12 per person if preregistered before Oct. 4. Day-of registration is $15 per person.  

All preregistered runners will receive a T-shirt; the trail run will end with refreshments in the park.

The single-track trails are natural dirt.

“This is a great event for a new trail runner or a fun fall practice run for the avid runner,” reads a release from the city.
