Woodbury’s Kyle Todd Wins Latest MMA Fight

The Woodbury High School graduate successfully returned from a knee injury in his March 23 win.

Kyle Todd, the Woodbury mixed-martial arts fighter, notched a victory in his Saturday, March 23, return to the cage following a knee injury.

Todd, who trains at Spartan Martial Arts in Oakdale, won a unanimous decision from judges (30-27) in the three-round bout, according to MN MMA News. The win bumped his record to 5-2 as an amateur.

The win over Branden Bell, fighting out of La Crosse, Wis., came at the High Five Bar and Grill in Burnsville. They fought at 165 pounds.

MN MMA News called it a “dominating performance” for Todd, who showed off his wrestling skills via numerous takedowns during the fight. Todd was a wrestler at Woodbury High School.
