400 Lose Power in Woodbury

Xcel Energy Expects to Restore Service by 9:10 p.m. Tuesday.

More than 400 electricity customers in Woodbury are without power Tuesday, according to Xcel Energy.

Xcel said on its online outage map that it expected to restore power by 9:10 p.m. for 406 Woodbury households or businesses that lost service at 5:12 p.m.

The outage comes at an inconvenient time—the beginning of a heat wave that prompted the National Weather Service to issue a heat advisory Tuesday for the Twin Cities that will remain in effect through Thursday at 9 p.m.
