Insanely hot. That not one person died of heat stroke is incredibly surprising.

Great point, Ben. Last year's event was hot and sticky but nothing like what it must have been yesterday. Well done.

There were however a few that were extremely close to that happening when they were carted out of there via ambulance... Just not worth it IMO...

It was so much fun (as always)! Love the pictures!

I got the biggest kick out of the photographs early this morning. What a great job you did in capturing the day Mr. Pointon. I admire all of the contestants.

I heard a few ambulances while I was climbing hills and wishing for death, but all I saw was a chick break her ankle on the water-slide. I regretted signing up at the time but was super happy to have done it after all was said and done.

Yeah, I did it last year and Dave did a fantastic job of capturing what the day is like, i.e. gals dressed in tutus rolling beneath barbed wire.

You folks are a ton of fun...and admiringly fit! I'm so glad Warrior Dash came last year and this. No easy task for sure. Keep it up! The faces of gladness and pain are hilarious - the pictures told the story well.

Kris and Margaret, thanks for your comments. I got muddy just watching and lost about 10 lbs in the heat. That is not all bad!
