Woodbury Still Under Excessive Heat Warning

The National Weather Services says heat indices could reach 110.

High temperatures are expected to continue in Woodbury.

Much of the state is under an excessive heat warning, according to National Weather Service.

The warning began noon Sunday, Aug. 25 and continues through midnight Tuesday, Aug 27.

An excess heat warning means a prolonged period of “dangerously hot temperatures will occur,” according to the alert. Temperatures are forecast to continue in the high 90s through Tuesday with the heat index values up to 110.

  • If outside, reschedule strenuous activities to early morning or evening hours and take frequent rest breaks in the shade or an air conditioned indoors.
