Bielenberg Restaurant, 2014 Levy Discussion: Woodbury Council Preview
The City Council is set to meet for a brief regular meeting at an earlier time Wednesday before adjourning to a workshop session.
Plans for a new restaurant, part of the Bielenberg Sports Center expansion project, will come before the Woodbury City Council at a Wednesday workshop meeting.
Staff has been working to refine the lease agreement with Gartner Restaurant Holdings, which plans a full restaurant with food service to the sports center fields. The restaurant will be sited on the second floor of the new lobby, and the company plans to apply for a liquor license.

City staff is asking the council for direction on the changes, and the agreement could come back for formal approval at its Aug. 7 meeting.

Gartner Restaurant Holdings will also manage a first-floor concessions area at the new lobby.
Levy
Wednesday’s workshop also includes an early discussion about tax levy parameters and budgetary issues.
The council is set to hold its major 2014 budget workshop in late August.
The city in recent years has kept its levy increases low, including no increase in 2012.

Meeting
The council will hold its regular meeting an hour early at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 24.

Following the regular meeting, the council is set to adjourn to the workshop.
