Senior Citizen Old-time Dances are Back!

Tropical Ballroom brings back Old-time Dances for Senior Citizens, but held at Central Park.

Back by Popular Demand!

My dance studio, , used to host Wednesday afternoon Old-time Dances for senior citizens. We had to stop in December during our construction, and have had many senior citizens stop by since we re-opened in our new location mid-January, asking when we will start up our Old-time Dances again!

Well, we've been booked solid with dance lessons even during that time, and, we eliminated some of our seating in our new space, so I contacted the City of Woodbury and was directed to Parks & Recreation.

Tropical Ballroom and The City of Woodbury Parks and Recreation have teamed-up together to bring you our same great Old-time Dance Parties, bands, price, and Tropical Ballroom hosts, but held at Central Park instead!  It's a win-win for all of us, and we're really looking forward to bringing back this healthy social activity for our local senior citizens.

We are going to start with one Wednesday per month, from 1-4 p.m., the Hank Thunander band, and $8 per person admission, on the following dates through 2012: May 16, June 6, July 18, August 1, September 19, October 3, November 7, and December 5.
